It was a great harvest in 2016. The beginning of the year was terrible due to the heavy rainfalls. Diseases developed in the vineyards. In June vintners saw the light at the end of a tunnel of endless problems. Flowering went well. From the end of June until the very harvest, the weather was excellent, maybe even too perfect. But thanks to hot days and cool nights, the 2016 vintage ripened superbly and uniformly, retaining good acidity.
